As festival season kicks off, a poll finds that access to clean and sanitary restrooms ranks as the No. 1 priority for women. OnePoll research (commissioned by Always and Secret) surveyed 2,000 women across the United States, finding that 57% say restroom quality is top-of-mind. Another 57% cite expensive food and drink, while almost two-thirds say their period can negatively impact their experience. “Bathrooms become so much more than a quick stop. They turn into shared spaces of girlhood,” Always Brand Director Leah Mahoney says. “They’re where women pause to refresh, debrief and look out for one another.” “Dream” festival restrooms would ideally include air conditioning as well as hand sanitizer.
