The U.S. Department of Justice has assigned 80 more attorneys from its Criminal Division to review material involving Jeffrey Epstein on top of the more than 500 already on the case. A Jan. 15 letter says the Department has “made substantial progress and remains focused on releasing materials while protecting victim privacy,” adding that it is continuing to work with counsel for victims and victims themselves. The letter was signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi and Todd Blanche, deputy U.S. Attorney General. The government has come under criticism from both parties for its delay in releasing material.
