Amazon has inked a six-year deal to carry the annual Emmy Awards beginning next year. The Television Academy, which owns the awards, signed the deal with Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday. Previously, the awards aired on ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, rotating around each year. Amazon plans to air the show outside of its paywall so non-Prime members will still be able to watch for free.
