The Amsterdam Rijksmuseum and Madrid’s Prado museums are joining forces to increase women represented in their collection. The project will focus on women’s roles during the rise of one of Europe’s most powerful royal dynasties. The major exhibition will feature works of women’s artists that have been previously overlooked, and highlight key figures. The exhibit is set to be on display at the Rijksmuseum in 2029.
