Some airports across the country now have dedicated “family lanes” to make travel easier and less stressful. The Transportation Security Administration has launched dedicated lanes at airports in Orlando, Orange County, Honolulu, Charlotte, and several others as part of its “Families on the Fly” initiative. The lanes are meant for families with children ages 12 and under. Families also have access to discounted TSA PreCheck fees and dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes for military service members and their families. "We understand that air travel can be challenging, especially for parents managing strollers, diaper bags, and young kids,” TSA Federal Security Director for Orlando Pete Garcia said. “It’s about addressing the unique needs of traveling families.”
