What you probably already know: We started Formidable to help inform and connect women leaders while also spotlighting them and sharing their expert takes on the important news of our time.

Why? Women are underrepresented in nearly every professional setting, which also means they’re not called upon as speakers and sources for news-driven events and stories. News coverage of “women’s issues,” (which we would argue are all issues) are often relegated to the lifestyle or social issue sections of publications.

What it means: We are the news, we make the news. It’s time we’re featured in the news and treated like the expert professionals we are.
