HBO announces return of Girls for limited run

It has been more than a decade since the finale of Lena Dunham’s popular show Girls aired on HBO, and now it’s set to return. HBO announced a five-episode run is scheduled to start filming next year starring Dunham as a now middle-aged Hannah Horvath, alongside her crew of friends, all of whom are also returning. Dunham will be the executive producer alongside Judd Apatow, who also was an executive producer on the original series.
