International travel is on pace to hit record highs in the next two years as Americans and Canadians say safety and stability is more important than cost. MMGY’s 2025 Portrait of American and Canadian International Travelers says U.S. travelers plan to take about three trips over the next two years, while travel budgets have increased about 10% the past year. The report notes that cruises are becoming more popular, especially among younger travelers. Travelers are also extending business trips into vacations. Thirty-four percent of travelers say they now regularly fly business or first class, a significant uptick from 2024.
