A class action lawsuit has been filed against Danaher Corp. accusing the global life sciences and biotech firm of discriminating against white men. The suit — filed Sept. 15 in Orlando — alleges that the company’s DEI policies are “the source of systemic discrimination against Caucasian men,” saying Danaher and its subsidiaries also manipulate job descriptions and create “short lists” of diverse candidates to meet internal quotas. It also accuses the company of discriminating against applicants and employees over age 40. Danaher, based in Washington, D.C., employs more than 25,000 workers in the United States.
