The publication says a news outlet fired two prominent male journalists over the accusations, which both have denied. Hundreds of women are speaking out about workplace harassment across media, politics and health care, pushing institutions to act on harassment claims. The Guardian notes that “the repercussions extend far beyond the country’s newsrooms, proving more impact than the country’s first wave of #MeToo nearly 10 years ago.”
