In what TIME is calling a holiday “trend,” protestors across the country are taking to the streets on Labor Day to protest the Trump administration. A coalition of labor, advocacy and community groups will rally against the “Trump-led billionaire takeover of government” following nationwide protests on Independence Day.  The demonstrations — “Workers Over Billionaires” — are organized by advocacy group May Day Strong.  “Billionaires in this country have no interest in addressing poverty. In fact, they’d rather send in the military into our cities,” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said. “We’re standing together, coming together as the labor movement, the social movement, our community organizations and our faith community to fight for what working families need.”
