A new global equity fund from Norway’s largest bank, DNB, will focus on investment in the women’s health sector. DNB Fund Women’s Health, managed by physician Anesa Mulabecirovic Sahnoun, will invest in in 30 to 50 companies that address women’s health across life phases, including fertility, menstruation, menopause, pelvic health, mental health, and conditions that disproportionately affect women. The fund will target areas such as health care, medical technology, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. Currently, companies focusing on women’s health account for only 6% of private investment, with 90% of those funds going to cancer and reproductive and maternal health.
