Americans who hear personal stories of the impact of abortion restrictions are more likely to support abortion rights. The group Abortion in America’s new poll says 69% of those surveyed are very or somewhat interested in the personal stories of women who have been denied care for miscarriages or other pregnancy complications due to abortion restrictions. The undertaking also involved focus groups and online discussions. It found that “Gen Z men are moved by personal stories about pregnancy and reproductive health.” A 2025 Pew Research Center poll found that 63% of Americans say abortion should be legal in all or most cases.
