Women’s 3-on-3 pro basketball league Unrivaled is now valued at $340 million after closing its oversubscribed Series B investment round. Investors in the round — led by Bessemer Venture Partners — include Serena Ventures (led by Serena Williams), Warner Bros. Discovery and soccer legend Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures. Other investors include several NBA players and University of Maryland President Darryll J. Pines. The league was co-founded in 2023 by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart and is preparing to launch its second season in January. “Unrivaled is in an unprecedented position for a new sports league,” President and co-founder Alex Bazzell said. “This rise in valuation reflects investor confidence and proves that athlete-driven models can thrive at the highest levels of business.”
