Woman becomes first to swim the entire California coastline in just over 100 days

Catherine Breed began her journey at the California-Oregon border on July 1. Breed completed roughly 890 miles and journeyed through the sea alongside her crew. The two-time all-American swimmer trained for this long adventure for four months. She faced several sharks, and high currents that forced her to take a detour so she could complete the journey. Breed organized and participated at several community programs to raise awareness about marine conservation.
