The Wyoming State Supreme Court has ruled that two “near-total abortion bans” are unconstitutional. Wyoming Public Media reports that the Court voted 5-1 to uphold an earlier decision from a lower court that found the 2023 laws violate the constitutional right of residents to make their own health care decisions. The Center for Reproductive Rights says, as of November 2025, 25 states allow abortion — Wyoming now becomes No. 26. Thirteen states are “hostile,” meaning abortion rights are under threat (Wyoming previously fell into this category). Abortion remains illegal in 13 states, including in Idaho, South and North Dakota, Teas, and several other Southern states.
