Microsoft will soon have a dedicated AI health care chatbot called Copilot Health. Other AI companies have launched similar chatbots and Amazon rolled out its own health care chatbot for members of its One Medical Service in January. Microsoft says Copilot Health delivers “personalized health insights” but cautions that it’s not a replacement for a doctor. It offers items including activity levels, sleep patterns and vital signs from more than 50 wearable devices and has access to health records from more than 50,000 U.S. hospitals and provider organizations. The software giant says it is launching the service during a careful, phased rollout and has opened a waitlist.
