It didn’t take long for former Rent the Runway CEO and co-founder Jennifer Hyman to land her next gig. Hyman has been named CEO of Babylist, a registry, e-commerce and content platform based in Oakland, California. She replaces founder and CEO Natalie Gordon, who will transition into the role of executive chair. Gordon founded Babylist 15 years ago and grew it into a $750 million company tracking toward $1 billion in revenue this year. Hyman, who recently joined the Babylist board, stepped down from Rent the Runway, the company she founded in 2009, on May 15. Hyman notes that new parents are “the most valuable and high-intent consumers.” She begins Sept. 9.
