Popular sports media apps more often than not don’t provide scores or stats for professional women’s sports leagues. The Sports Business Journal reviewed nine popular sports apps, including ESPN and Yahoo Sports, and found that most omit scores for women’s leagues launched in the past two years. In some cases, scores for organizations including League One Volleyball and the Women’s Lacrosse League are completely unavailable on any major app, despite some having broadcast deals. The Sports Business Journal says many leagues and fans are building their own apps to track scores and other information.
