Midi Health, which launched as a menopause care platform and has since expanded to other women’s health solutions, announced Tuesday a $100 million funding round that values the company at $1 billion. The Series D round was led by Goodwater Capital and includes Serena Williams’ venture firm, Serena Ventures, and Laurene Powell Jobs’ firm, Emerson Collective. The platform is now covered by many major insurers and has more than 25,000 patients accessing services per week. The company was founded by Joanna Strober, who previously founded Kurbo and sold it to Weight Watchers, and Sharon Meers, a former Goldman Sachs managing director and eBay executive.
