Microsoft has reportedly partnered with Harvard Medical School to add health information to its new version of its Copilot chatbot. The Wall Street Journal says “The new version of Copilot will draw on information from the Harvard Health Publishing arm to respond to queries about health care topics. Microsoft will pay Harvard a licensing fee.” Microsoft will release the latest version of Copilot this month. KFF (previously known as Kaiser Family Foundation) notes that 17% of adults say they use chatbots at least once a month to find health information, with the percentage higher among adults under age 30.
