A new documentary from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell production company focuses on four Girl Scouts and the leadership and business lessons they learn while selling Girl scout cookies. Cookie Queens is described by the U.S. distributor of the documentary, Roadside Attractions, as “a celebration of girlhood and the complexities that come with it (in) a coming-of-age story about the joys, pressures and tensions woven into one of America’s most cherished rituals.” It opened in theaters Aug. 7. The movie is directed by Alysa Nahmias and produced by Nahmias, Michael Dweck, Gregory Kershaw and Jennifer Sims.
