Even as hybrid work becomes more common and AI reshapes how productivity is measured, being visible in the workplace still matters for career advancement, according to HiBob’s 2026 survey of 2,000 U.S. professionals. A quarter of women and 33% of men respondents said their No. 1 reason for going into the office is to “be more visible to colleagues” and leadership. Elsewhere in the survey, respondents reported more positive perceptions of pay equity and women’s representation in senior leadership roles than in prior years’ studies.
