Women are increasingly blaming President Trump for a cost-of-living crisis, with 66% saying the country “is on the wrong track” regarding inflation and rising costs. A new National Women’s Law Center poll adds that 43% of women say they have fewer rights now than a year ago. That number rises to 54% among Black women and 71% among LGBTQ-+ adults. “Women and families know exactly who is responsible for higher costs and attacks on our freedoms,” says Uma Mehta Iyer, NWLC chief external affairs officer. “This administration is for sale to the highest bidder and has taken a chainsaw to our civil rights.”
