QVC, a TV shopping channel that appeals primarily to women over 50, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. QVC Group, based in Pennsylvania, says its brands will continue to operate as usual as the company enters into a restructuring support agreement with major shareholders. President and CEO David Rawlinson says the company has become a top seller on TikTok Shop U.S. and has also consolidated its Home Shopping Network and QVC operations in a “changing tariff environment,” adding that “this process will allow for QVC Group to have the financial structure it needs to accelerate our return to growth.” QVC reaches more than 200 million homes worldwide via 15 TV channels.
