Netflix is reportedly paying $200 million for broadcast rights to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, according to Bloomberg. FIFA and Netflix first announced the broadcast deal in late 2024. The Sports Business Journal, quoting Bloomberg, notes that the deal “makes this one of the biggest on an annual basis for a women’s sport property.” The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup will occur in several cities across Brazil from June 24 to July 25. Fox paid about $485 million for the U.S. broadcast rights to the recent 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup.
