Saying she wants it to be “bigger than me,” tennis legend Serena Williams has rebranded her VC firm from Serena Ventures to Starfire Ventures. Fast Company reports that the company has 16 unicorns in its portfolio. Williams serves a managing partner of the company, which lists 10 employees on its website. Williams launched the company in 2014 and went public with it five years later. It launched its first fund in 2022. Williams told CNBC last year that “I love people that are curious. I love being curious. We’re living in a digital revolution. For me, that’s how I started investing.”
