Soccer star leaves Wasserman Agency amid Epstein-related revelations

Another celebrity has left the Wasserman Agency over its founder’s ties with Jeffrey Epstein. The Guardian reports that soccer legend Abby Wambach, a two-time gold medalist and World Cup winner, is also calling for 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Chairman Casey Wasserman’s resignation after emails between he and Ghislaine Maxwell were revealed in files related to Epstein. Pop star Chappell Roan also recently cut ties with the agency. Wasserman has represented Wambach for at least 15 years. The Guardian notes that Wasserman issued an apology on Jan. 31 acknowledging that he flew on an Epstein-owned plane, but he denied any personal or business relationship with him.
