The share of ultra-wealthy women across the globe is projected to grow at a rapid pace in a shift that “forward-looking firms should already be preparing for.” Data firm Altrata’s 14th “World Ultra Wealth Report 2026” says women account for 12% of the ultra-wealthy now, but that number is forecast to hit 19% by 2040. At 13%, Asia boasts the highest concentration of wealthy women, with 12.4% in Europe and 11.8% in North America. The report notes that India will remain among the fastest-growing economies over the next five years. The gradual increase in women’s wealth will influence “investment, philanthropic and luxury asset priorities.”
