Ten women were recently inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame for their various achievements in foreign relations, human rights advocacy, literature, and other community-oriented work. Among the new inductees are names such as Audre Lorde, a poet and social activist who co-founded Kitchen Table: Women of Color Press, and S. Monha Sinha, CEO of international human rights nonprofit Equality Now. The National Women’s Hall of Fame inducts new honorees biennially.
