Six women appear on Time’s Latino Leaders 2025 list. They are:
• Liza Colón-Zayas, who won an Emmy last year for her portrayal of a line cook on TV series The Bear.
• Author Isabel Allende, who has published 31 books.
• Katya Echazarreta, who three years ago became the first Mexican woman to travel to space.
• Public health activist Daphne Frias, a fierce advocate of inclusive climate solutions.
• Actor Isabela Merced, a star of HBO’s hit series The Last of Us.
• Emma Rodriguez-Ayala, general counsel and chief administrative officer of Chicago based Ariel Investments, which earlier this year launched its first fund focusing exclusively on women’s sports investments.
Time says Latinos represent just under 20% of the U.S. population, but account for more than 30% of the country’s economic growth. Six men also appear on the list.
