Winx to launch retail health clinics aimed at women in Walmart stores across the country

Saying it is “meeting women where they shop,” Philadelphia-based Winx Health is launching retail outlets in Walmart stores across the country. Research shows that women are increasingly accessing care via retail health clinics because of convenience, with one noting that “women, especially of reproductive age, are more inclined than men to seek care at retail clinics,” primarily for acute care but also for immunizations, infection screening and treatment and reproductive health issues. Winx also says it is also launching its new Test + Treat 3-in-1 kit “built for the woman Googling her symptoms at 2 a.m., not entirely sure what’s going on down there. We’ve been her!” A BrandSpark-Newsweek survey of more than 35,000 shoppers just named Walmart the most trusted grocery chain in America.
