A significant player in the global content marketing and advertising industry has launched a “Women in Computing” campaign that “aims to inspire, educate and empower current and aspiring technology professionals.” Mediaplanet, a Stockholm-based company that operates 15 offices across Europe and North America, says the campaign will bring together industry leaders, educators, researchers and advocates to help organizations become more inclusive and build a stronger and more diverse tech ecosystem. UNESCO notes that just 15% of women graduates across the globe choose STEM careers, compared to 35% of men.
