Global revenue from elite women’s sports is projected to hit $3 billion this year, a 25% hike from 2025. Revenue has soared 340% from 2022. Notably, broadcast revenue now accounts for 25% of that total as fandom skyrockets. “Surpassing the three-billion-dollar mark in 2026 would be a phenomenal achievement,” Deloitte Sports Business Group executive Jennifer Haskel says. “However, it is important to recognize that it is still early days,” adding that further strategic investment is needed to sustain momentum. Deloitte notes that major events in 2025 set the stage for growth, city both the Rugby and Cricket World Cups as key drivers.
