Capital F, which TechCrunch calls one of the few all-female led VC firms, has raised $17 million in its debut fund. The San Francisco firm, founded in 2024 by  health care and business executive Margaret Coblentz and Dawn Dobras, says its focus is on the $15 trillion female economy, noting that women control 85% of consumer spending. The Capital F website says, “we back exceptional founders building across health, AI and digital commerce at pre-seed and seed.” On her LinkedIn profile, Dobras says, “most of the markets built for (women) are still running on outdated infrastructure and data nobody bothered to collect.”
