Daré launches telehealth service for sildenafil cream

San Diego-based Daré Bioscience, has launched a telehealth platform for its Dare to Play Sildenafil arousal cream designed specifically for women. Daré says the move “marks the first time women nationwide” can obtain a prescription for topical sildenafil cream. The service is available in all 50 states through a 503B outsourcing facility, an FDA-registered entity that compounds large batches of sterile drugs. “Many women experience sexual health concerns but have not yet connected with a health care provider about them,” Daré Bioscience President and CEO Sabrina Johnson says. Customers can’t yet place an order but can receive a prescription during a “pre-fulfillment” period.
