June Health’s $1.7M funding round highlights investor appetite for AI

A Toronto-based women’s health care platform built around AI has just raised $1.7 million in U.S. dollars ($2.4 million Canadian) to “accelerate its mission to modernize how women access and experience health care through clinician-trained AI.” June Health says its platform seeks to provide women with more comprehensive, personalized and preventative care through employers and insurers. The round was led by insurance provider Securian Canada. Silicon Valley Bank notes that startups using AI to personalize women’s health care are commanding valuations triple those of their non-AI counterparts.
