Smart ring maker Oura Inc. is making plans to go public. The San Francisco-based maker of the Oura Ring said it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement to the SEC, adding that the number of shares offered and the price range have not been determined. Oura recently raised more than $900 million and is now valued at more than $11 billion. The company has sold more than 5.5 million smart rings in the past 10 years, with half of those sales coming in the past year alone. The ring monitors a comprehensive range of women’s health metrics, including menstrual cycles, fertility, sleep patterns, physical activity and stress levels.
