TIME names 16 to annual Women of Year list

TIME has named 16 women to its 2026 Women of the Year list. The publication says all are “leaders building a more equitable future,” including musician Brandi Carlisle; actors Mariska Hargitay, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Lucy Liu; author and podcast host Mel Robbins; track star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Ulta Beauty CEO Kecia Steelman. “For the fifth year in a row we recognize women working to create a more equitable world,” writes TIME Editor-in-Chief Sam Jacobs. “Leaders who we believe are addressing the most pressing issues confronting women and girls in 2026.”
