Two women-led-companies recently featured in news reports have launched a new partnership. Parenting platform Babylist, which recently hired former Rent the Runway CEO Jennifer Hyman as its new CEO, and Unwell, a media and entertainment company co-founded by Alex Cooper that just raised its first outside funding at a $500 million valuation, have partnered on a multi-phase initiative aimed at supporting new and expecting parents. The collaboration follows Cooper’s viral moment where she cleared registry items for expecting mothers on Babylist’s platform. The initiative will merge Unwell’s creator network with the platform to crowdsource parenting advice, product recommendations and other resources for millions of families.
