Women are using AI at work less than men, and when they do, they say they get less recognition and lack manager support. A survey from Cheryl Sandberg’s Lean In note that women in general feel less positive and more cautious about AI, and higher numbers also have “ethical” reservations or question its accuracy. “Falling behind on AI could affect women’s entire career trajectories,” the survey says, “and small gaps in usage today could become large gaps in opportunity tomorrow.” One-quarter of women also say they’re “more likely to feal threatened” and 29% say they feel like they’re “cheating” when they use AI.
