Forty-two percent of young men across the U.S. call religion “very important,” a 50% hike from just three years ago. A Gallup survey covering the years 2024 and 2025 notes that young women’s views of religion have remained consistent at about 30%. Gallup says “women of all age groups and older men are at or near historic lows,” adding that young men’s religious fervor is at its highest point since 2001. Among adults 30 and older, however, women remain more religious than men. The study coincides with others that note that young men are increasingly adopting traditional values at a time when Gen Z women are becoming more liberal.
